Ideal for large areas, it has a 5/8-11 in internal thread for use with rotary sanders with 5/8-11 in external threaded shanks. Use with 5-1/4 in (133.1 mm) buffs or 5 in (12.7 mm) 3M™ Hookit™ Discs.

The 45-degree tapered edge provides flexibility and allows the sanded area to be easily blended and feather-edged.
